Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I’m in-network with CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and accept their PPO, EPO, and Federal Employee plans but not HMO plans. For all other insurance policies, I would be considered out-of-network. In this case, contact me about self-pay rates. If requested, I can submit an out-of-network claim to your insurance company on your behalf and depending on your benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of your out-of-pocket cost for sessions.

No. I provide all therapy sessions virtually, giving clients a lot of flexibility and convenience. All of the therapy modalities and techniques I use in my practice are also effective virtually.

I schedule appointments through the week except Wednesdays, ranging from 9am to 3pm. Sessions are 50-55 minutes and scheduled weekly or biweekly depending on treatment needs and progress.

No, I provide therapy only to adults. However, if you have a child or teen in their own therapy for OCD or a related disorder, I am happy to provide therapy to you as the parent to help guide you in supporting your child.

No, but I’m happy to offer referrals to providers who do prescribe medication and coordinate care with them at your request.

Yes, with a couple of exceptions. Everything we discuss will be kept confidential, except when there is concern about your safety, another person’s safety, or if abuse of a child is suspected. If you are a federal worker with a security clearance, say no more — I understand the sensitive nature of this and will not ask you lots of nosey questions about your job!
